What is 56?
A trick-taking card game for two teams, played across Kerala and by Malayalis everywhere. Players bid for the contract, the highest bidder's team names trumps, and the 56 points on the table decide who made it. The full rules are on the rules page.
Does it cost anything?
No. The site is free to play and is meant to run on advertising alone.
What are BOTs?
Computer players trained on thousands of real games from the old site. They take any seat you leave empty, bid with the group's conventions, and can explain a bid or suggest a play when you ask.
What are tokens?
Tokens pay for BOT seats and for asking the BOT for help. For now they are gifted — a welcome grant and a monthly allowance — never bought.
Can I play with only my own friends?
Yes. Create a private group, share its invite link (or add members yourself), and open tables inside it. The public group is open to everyone.
Which devices work?
Any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. On a phone the table is played sideways. There is nothing to install.
Why can't I register?
The site is in a closed trial. Players from 56cardgameonline.com sign in with their old email address and password; registration for everyone else opens when the trial ends.
How do I get help?
Every page has a ? button that explains what is on it, and the site has a feedback page where you can report a problem or suggest a feature. For anything else, write to [email protected].
