Our Story

The idea for this platform was born during the COVID-19 lockdowns during a call with some of our friends who were avid 56 enthusiasts. Since they were no longer able to play face-to-face, they were looking for a way to play online and asked if we could build something for them.

What started as a simple weekend project for our friend group quickly grew beyond what we expected. We were overwhelmed by the warm reception from players globally - from college friends reconnecting across continents to family groups who now play nearly every day to catch up and stay connected.

Private Family & Group Gaming

One of our core founding features remains Private Groups. We understand that many players simply want to enjoy a quiet game with their inner circle without playing at public tables. Our private group feature allows families and friend circles to create dedicated spaces, invite members, and host private tables away from public view.

Why We Built Version 2.0

As our community grew, one major challenge emerged: Quorum. Because traditional 56 is best enjoyed with 6 players, it was often difficult to get everyone online at the exact same time. No quorum meant no game.

To solve this problem, and to deliver smoother performance across all devices - we completely redesigned and rebuilt the site from the ground up. Version 2.0 introduces intelligent AI BOTs that step in whenever a player is unavailable. If you feel like playing, you can jump right in; any empty seats can be filled by trained BOTs that bid and play alongside you.

We also added detailed match logs, board replays, and enhanced table customization options—all while keeping the core gameplay authentic and completely free to play.

We are a small team of independent developers based in Switzerland. This platform is a true passion project that we manage alongside our regular day jobs. Our mission is simple: to preserve and share the traditional 56 card game through a high-quality, modern web platform that brings people together, no matter where they are in the world.
